We arrive on February 9th and my friend has asked us to join him in celebrating the Lantern Festival complete with fireworks.

- I'm a college professor who is taking January Term to visit my friend who is the director of the Luther College Nottingham Program. My three daughters Leigh, age 14, Lauren, age 14, and Anna, age 13 will accompany me. I've not been to the U.K. since the Beattles were in their 20's and I'm anxious to see it all again. We are spending three weeks in Nottingham with Jackie and Miles and then moving to our apartment in London. Our plans for London include a visit to Buckingham, a ride on the London Eye, visit to Picadilly, visit to RADA, a musical, and maybe the wax museum. We thought we would attend church at St. Paul's. We leave on Wednesday, December 15 from Minneapolis on KLM and will arrive on December 16 where we are to catch a bus to Nottingham. Things could be dicey with bad weather here and bad weather there. Everyone is very excited!
